Services: Editing, Writing, Proofreading, etc.
Mature, published International Commerce and Policy graduate student/writer/webmaster offers writing, research, editing, proofreading services – and more!

editor picEditing/Research/Proofreading/On-Line Content: Whether your novel needs extensive editing, a news story needs to be checked for AP style conformance prior to submission or you need to get cracking on your research paper, we can help!

  • For fiction, editing will not only include grammar, but continuity and coherence. If characterizations and scenes need to be fleshed out, suggestions will be inserted right where they are deemed most necessary using the MS Word “Comments” feature.
  • For research papers, I will go with you to the library, help you pick out your source materials and show you how to utilize electronic word processing applications to their utmost to generate out a well-referenced/organized, high quality finished product in conformance with APA, Chicago or MLA style requirements -- as quickly as possible.
  • Large files will be broken down into a master with subdocuments to enable back-and-forth editing/revision one section at a time.
  • I am not a formally trained Web Developer, but [I daresay] this self-designed website demonstrates an ability to adequately organize content, create/manipulate simple graphics, secure compatible advertising, webhosting/domain name registration, etc. If you’d like to know how to get your material on-line or make your existing website more professional-looking/functional, I’d be happy to help.
Rates for Editing/Research/Proofreading:
  • $20/hr for off-site work: Materials will be transferred via e-mail (Available Worldwide) or meet me on George Mason University's Fairfax campus.
  • $25/hr for on-site work: I will travel to your location (DC Metro area only)
  • Student discount available!

"Netscape Composer is an easy-to-use tool that makes creating HTML-based documents as easy as writing a memo with a word processor. HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, describes how words and images should be displayed on a web page or in an email message. Like a word processor, Composer uses fonts, styles, paragraphs, and lists, and includes an integrated spelling checker."
